Ustawienie android:background i android:button Radiobuttona tak, jakby zaakceptowana odpowiedź nie zadziałała dla mnie. Rysowalny obraz był wyświetlany jako tło (mimo że android:button był ustawiony na przezroczysty ) do tekstu przycisku radiowego jako Tutaj wpisz opis obrazka

Więc dał radiobutton jako custom drawable radiobuttonstyle.xml
