Oto najprostszy sposób tworzenia aplikacji do rysowania za pomocą canvas:

  1. Załącz a mousedown, mousemove, i mouseup detektor zdarzeń do canvas DOM
  2. w polu mousedown uzyskaj współrzędne myszy i użyj metody moveTo(), Aby ustawić kursor rysunku i metody beginPath(), aby rozpocząć nową ścieżkę rysowania.
  3. na mousemove, stale dodawaj nowy punkt do ścieżki za pomocą lineTo() i pokoloruj ostatni segment za pomocą stroke().
  4. on mouseup, Ustaw flagę, aby wyłączyć rysunek.

Stamtąd można dodać wszelkiego rodzaju inne funkcje, takie jak dając użytkownikowi możliwość wyboru grubości linii, koloru, pociągnięć pędzla, a nawet warstw.
